2. Who we are

SheenProof ("we", "us") provides a service that checks files for signs of AI generation. This policy explains what data we handle and why. [TODO: add your legal entity name and registered address]

3. What we collect

• Files you upload: images, video, PDF and Word files, used only for analysis.
• Report data: report ID, file name, file type, SHA-256 fingerprint, verdict, AI probability, summary and findings.

• Messages you send us, such as sales or support emails.

4. How we use it

• To analyze your file and generate your report.
• To operate, secure, debug and improve the service.
• To prevent abuse, fraud and unlawful use.

5. File handling and retention

Uploaded files are deleted after analysis. We keep the report so you can view it and download the PDF. Reports are kept for [TODO: set a period, for example 30 days] and then deleted, unless you ask us to remove them sooner or the law requires us to keep them.

6. Who else processes data

7. When we share data

We do not share report contents or file details for advertising.

8. Your choices

You can stop emails from us by using the unsubscribe link or writing to us. You can ask us to delete a report before our normal retention period ends. You can also choose not to upload a file.

9. Basis for processing

We process your data to provide the service you asked for, based on your consent when you upload a file, and where needed to meet legal duties and to keep the service secure. You can withdraw consent by stopping use and asking us to delete your data.

10. Links to other sites

Our site may link to other websites. Their privacy practices are their own, so please read their policies.

11. Grievance contact

15. Children

SheenProof is not intended for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has used the service, contact us and we will delete the data.

16. International transfers

Our providers may process data in other countries. Where we transfer data, we take steps to make sure it stays protected as required by applicable law.

17. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. For significant changes we will give a clearer notice on the site.
